Sales/service representatives represent the company to the customer on a technical consulting basis. The following experience is necessary or helpful for performance of that function:
Previous work experience as a sales/service field engineer in chemical treatment testing services for boiler and cooling systems.
Mechanical knowledge in servicing pretreatment equipment, ie. softeners, dealkalizers, and R.O. units as well as an understanding of the operation of the various types of equipment in the typical boiler or cooling system.
Ability to operate all types of chemical feed and bleed control systems, including sophisticated computerized systems operated on a LAN or the internet.
A degree in chemistry or a related technical degree is desirable.

For sales/service representatives who represent themselves or companies that desire to purchase formulated products to sell under their own name, or the RTA Water Treatment name, RTA Water Treatment will sell to them already formulated products, or custom made products. Backup for product application is provided. MSDS are provided. Otherwise, backup varies by the needs of the purchaser, and is determined in advance by mutual agreement.
